Directions to Zell am See, Salzburg
From Germany: Munich motorway - Salzburg (A8)
Exit at Siegsdorf. Turn right towards Zell am See via Inzell - Lofer - Saalfelden. Do not take the tunnel when arriving at Zell am See, but go towards the centre (Zentrum). Stay on the main road and take the second street to the left called Franz-Josef-Strasse. At the end of Franz-Josef-Strasse take the street to the right, called Saalfeldnerstr. You will reach the ROMANTIKHOTEL ZELL AM SEE after 200m. An Austrian road toll vignette is not required here!
Coming from South and East Austria: Tauern motorway (A10)
Exit at Bischofshofen. Take the main road to Zell am See via St.Johann-Schwarzach. In Zell am See cross the roundabout and continue straight on in the direction of the tunnel/Zell am See - Zentrum. The exit to the town centre is in the middle of the tunnel. After one kilometer, turn right at the first traffic lights and continue towards the train station and on to Salzmannsstrasse. You will reach the ROMANTIKHOTEL ZELL AM SEE after approx. 500m.
Coming from Italy, Switzerland and West Austria: Inntal motorway (A12)
Exit at Wörgl Ost. First follow the signs to St.Johann i.T. and then continue to Saalfelden passing by Fieberbrunn. Once you reach Zell am See do not enter the tunnel but follow signs to the town centre 'Zentrum'. Stay on the main road and turn into Franz-Josef-Strasse at the second intersection. At the end of Franz-Josef-Strasse turn right into Saalfeldnerstrasse. You will reach the ROMANTIKHOTEL ZELL AM SEE after 200m.
Travel over the Thurn pass or the Felbertauern
When reaching Zell am See go straight on at the crossing and then stay on the right to enter the tunnel towards 'Zentrum' (center). Take the 'Zentrum' exit in the middle of the tunnel. After one kilometer turn right at the first traffic lights and follow signs to the train station 'Bahnhof' and continue to Salzmannsstrasse. You will reach the ROMANTIKHOTEL ZELL AM SEE after approx. 500m.
